About OK Pools

Offshore Kiwi Pools can be put anywhere for any period of time, in any location provided climatic conditions allow. They can be used for competitions, entertainment, education and recreation.

These pools are a fantastic opportunity for just about anything or anybody who has access to an open body of water and they are very cost effective to buy, rent or lease.

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, the sturdy modular pods are of a simple construction yet fully patented. The adaptability of the “podular” design means that they can be put to multiple uses. Swimming training, leisure pools, pontoons for every open water aquatic pursuit.

The entire pool consisting of pods, lane ropes, weights, steps and connectors can be stored and transported in one container. Allowing the ultimate ease of storage and transportability anywhere in the world.

An Offshore Kiwi Pool can be transported as fast as shipping times allow with all components required for full installation. From delivery to installation you can be swimming in matter of hours.

Assembly

Assembly can be done just as easily on land as it can on the water. Pods are relatively lightweight and transportable.

Easily managed on land by two people and of course when in the water their inherent buoyancy means you can easily float them into position, ready for anchoring and joining.

The pods when joined provide an extremely stable platform to stand on and perform all other functions of a normal poolside, for tumble turns, rest, and of course simply lounging around on.

The unique patented interlocking device means the structure is sturdy and ensures the integrity of the pods once they are assembled.

The design of the interlock… and the individually tailored construction of each pool…. for each customer…. also means that virtually any configuration of the pool can be designed and installed.

From a single lane two pod training lane to a full spec 8 lanes Olympic size pool, or a multiple use fully enclosed leisure pool.

The attached stairs mount securely to the pontoon for easy access to the pool. As few or as many steps can be configured for each pod depending on requirements, and deeper stairs can be provided for applications such as diving, or where the pod is being used for construction or for safety in an offshore situation.

Anchoring utilises concrete blocks and A-grade marine chain to ensure security and snap locks are provided on all connections.

The anchoring requirements are determined and designed for each marine situation; our fully qualified hydrographers will calculate tidal flow, depth, wind and potential wave action in your location to ascertain the optimum anchorage for your OK Pool.

To alleviate potential concerns for swimmers and for added ocean safety – fully enclose the pool underwater - shark nets are an added option, these are constructed from marine grade protective netting, and can be tailor-made for most depths and sizes.
